Fatima Al Haddad is a conceptual painter who realized her potential while she was a child. She was interested in it and learned it on her own. She strengthened this by taking part in exhibitions and competitions, exchanging experiences with other artists, and developing a social network of arts enthusiasts.
Fatima's work investigates how colors elicit certain emotions and represent the mood and mental states. Her art has two directions: the first is about an idea, creating something new, developing and forging its own aesthetic identity, and the second is about geometric forms and their integration with humans.
The simple and peaceful abstraction of color choices is the second direction. These paintings are popular for homes and offices. Her interior design studies clearly show the impact on their artworks as well as her knowledge of what is acceptable and good for all spaces. She believes that art may create a sense of place. Engineering can have a narrative effect too, presenting a tale through shapes.
Fatima has made a variety of artistic contributions outside of Bahrain, including the International Modern Art Exhibition "QRIZZONTI TRAVERSALI." She has also shown her work in the Dubai Design District in the United Arab Emirates on multiple occasions. In 2015, she received first place in graduating projects at the University of Bahrain's Faculty of Engineering.
